I've been using a friend's but had to have one of my own. It is great for blocking shawls, sweaters, small projects and anything else that needs to be blocked. Pin stick easily into it and hold your work perfectly. I love the lines so I can block straighter. It is big, but it folds up and would slide easily under a bed or int he back of a closet.
Haven't used this a lot yet but so far for knitting blocking, which is what I bought it for, it is wonderful. I can lay out pieces fully, pin them and then use a steam iron to set. The measurement blocks work great. Wish I had bought it sooner. It is a little expensive but well worth it.
